Mrs Cindy Naresh

Cindy joined the Gillies McIndoe Research Institute in 2016 as the Executive Assistant and Office Manager. 

Cindy deals with the day-to-day running of the office and enjoys the opportunity to support the researchers in innovating cancer treatment.

She started her career in the steel industry with Fletchers, in Dunedin. She remained with the company for several years, moving locations and being involved in various roles from sales, administration, training and management. In 2001 she moved to The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme and was involved in the day-to-day running as well as in celebrating the achievements of many young people.

Outside of work, Cindy enjoys spending time with family and friends, barbershop singing, reading, fishing and Zumba.
