Who is an Ambassador?
An Ambassador’s role typically involves representing and promoting our cause and activities and most often comes from their request to do what they can to help us.
As an Ambassador, you may be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including:
Spreading awareness: As an Ambassador, one of your primary responsibilities is to raise awareness about our mission, goals, and activities. This may involve talking at a grass-roots level, where possible, or using your platform and social media to promote our research and maintain positive relationships with existing supporters.
Fundraising: As an Ambassador, you may wish to help raise funds for the Gillies McIndoe Research Institute. This may involve organising your own or participating in our fundraising events, reaching out to potential donors, or encouraging others to donate to the Gillies McIndoe Research Institute.
Being our Ambassador should be a rewarding and fulfilling role, as it allows you to use your platform to help us undertake innovative research that aspires to turn scientific discoveries into more effective, less invasive, and more affordable and equitable therapies. As our Ambassador, you can help us to improve outcomes and the quality of life for people facing cancer and disfiguring conditions.
If you are inspired to become an Ambassador or wish to learn more, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
