Dr Tan acts as ambassador for the Value of Medicines Award
Medicines New Zealand provides an annual award to showcase innovative research projects that can improve the health of New Zealanders through the use of medicines and vaccines.
The $20,000 Value of Medicines Award encourages and rewards research into medicines and vaccines in New Zealand.
Last year’s winner was Dr Swee Tan, Founder and Executive Director of the Gillies McIndoe Research Institute (GMRI).
To encourage applicants for this year’s award, Medicines NZ has issued a promotional news release, leveraging the success of the GMRI’s team.
